This project, from 2016, is about my dad - as well as my grandparents’ ranch in Central California. It’s where my dad feels most at home, but it is also not where he lives. As a study in identity, iconography, and belonging, I tried to provide a visual document of the stories we tell ourselves about our lives, our past, and our journey in this world. In these images I also see myself.
